Jenna King, Co-Founder & President of Olivia's Light

Jenna King; Co-Founder & President/Executive Director

Jenna King is mother to Olivia King, who passed away at 4-months old from an ultra-rare neurological and fatal genetic condition, “EEF1A2 related neurodevelopmental disorder”. Following Olivia’s diagnosis, Jenna and her husband Ben founded the non-profit, Olivia’s Light, to support children living with a rare disease. Jenna serves as the organization’s President and Executive Director, and is the co-course director for the Olivia’s Light Pediatric Rare Disease Conference. Additionally, Jenna serves on the UVA Health Children’s NICU Parent Advisory Committee and will soon participate in the new Parent-to-Parent Partnership Program, to provide one-to-one support for current NICU parents.

Jenna is a former sports broadcaster for NBC Sports and marketing professional. Her most purposeful work and greatest blessing yet, however, is her role as a stay-at-home mother to Luca (4) and Hollie (1).
